If I came across this type specimen book, I would be very happy. It's a shame type specimen books don't look like this anymore... This particular copy is extra special because it once belonged to, not just one, but two very important Graphic Designers - Jan Tschichold, and then Paul Rand, who collected all things relating to Jan Tschichold. As he often did, Paul Rand cut out parts of the book to use in the course of his work. Read more of this book's lovely story on Typetoken.
