MARK MAKING

I'm in the early stages of designing a logo for Jewellery Designer Emma Craig. Her collections are simple and elegant, and have a beautiful mid-century feel to them. Below are some examples of her work that she gave me for reference.

Emma's brief is fairly open - to design a mark that represents her work, and for it to have a linear quality. The logo also needs to sit well next to the different metals, threads and beads that she works with. I've started by looking at the subtle textures and hammer marks she makes while working in silver, gold and rose gold - here are some of my initial experiments.
